Ice maker maintenance cycle contents and methods: Cleaning the air filter should not take more than 15 days. Soak the filter in a neutral detergent solution, clean with a soft brush, dry and install. Clean the exterior within three months; wipe the water system with a cloth soaked in a neutral detergent solution; disassemble the water system components for cleaning and disinfecting within six months according to the instructions in the Cleaning Procedure; clean and disinfect the refrigerator. Clean the condenser according to the instructions in the ‘Parts Cleaning (or Disinfection) Disassembly Procedure’. For dust, use compressed air to blow from top to bottom; for oil, use a commercial coil cleaner. Check for loose, tight or blocked circuit wiring.
